What it checks

Six areas, one honest score

01

Shop foundation

Announcement, policies, banner, sections — the setup a buyer judges before they trust you with an order.

02

Catalog health

Tags, sections and the silent killers — auto-renew off, made-to-order quantity traps — read across every active listing at once.

03

SEO & findability

How well your titles and tags cover the phrases buyers actually type, and whether your listings compete with each other.

04

Pricing

Your price spread across the shop and the tell-tale set-high-then-discount pattern, so you price on purpose.

05

Reputation & demand

Reviews, rating and how fast they come in — plus the views-to-favourites gap that points to a photo or price problem.

06

Photography

An AI read of your main photos as a set: do they look like one brand, and what's the single biggest visual fix.

One great listing won't save a shop

You can perfect a single listing and still lose sales to things that live at the shop level — an empty announcement, missing policies, a dozen listings with no section, or auto-renew quietly switched off so they vanish from search. Most tools look at one listing at a time, so nobody ever tells you the pattern across your shop.

This audit reads your whole shop through Etsy's official API — every active listing, your settings, your reviews and your main photos — and scores it the way a buyer and Etsy's search actually see it. The numbers are counted in code, not guessed; the plan is just those findings, put in the order that earns the most for the least effort.

Then fix it, one step at a time

Start at the top of your action plan. When you hit the photo items, run your weakest shots through the photo doctor, tidy each listing's settings with the listing checker, and sanity-check your prices with the price check. All free, all reading your real shop.

Frequently asked questions

Is the shop audit free?

Yes — completely, with no account. The whole report is open: your score, the six scored areas, and the exact fixes with a link to each listing that needs one. There's an optional email opt-in for new free tools and seller tips, but nothing is locked behind it.

How does it read my shop?

Through Etsy's official API — the same way Etsy's own apps do. It reads your shop settings, every active listing, your reviews and your main photos, scores them on the spot, and stores nothing.

What are the 'silent killers'?

Settings that quietly remove listings from search: auto-renew turned off (a listing expires and disappears after about four months) and a made-to-order listing left at quantity 1 (it goes inactive the moment it sells). The audit counts how many of your listings are affected.

Is the score guessing?

No. Every number — tags used, listings without a section, review cadence, price spread — is counted in code against Etsy's own rules. Only the written verdict and the action plan are AI, and they're built from those real numbers, never invented.

How is this different from your other free tools?

The photo doctor checks one listing's photos; the listing checker checks one listing's fields; the price check looks at one niche. The shop audit does all of it at once, across your whole shop, and hands you one prioritised plan.

What should I do with the result?

Fix the silent killers first, then work down the action plan — it's already ordered by what moves the needle most. Then run your weakest photos through the photo doctor to reshoot them.
