Reviews are the only market research buyers do for you
Every review is a buyer explaining, unprompted, why they paid. The five-star ones hand you selling language better than any copywriter: the exact words a stranger used to justify the purchase to themselves. The four-star ones are quieter and more valuable — a “beautiful, though I expected it bigger” is a size-photo problem you can fix this week.
And scattered through both are requests: a colour they wanted, a bigger version, a matching piece. Sellers pay for surveys to learn what their reviews already say. Reading a hundred of them takes an hour; the miner does it in seconds and keeps the receipts — every quote is verbatim.
Works on any shop, including the one you're chasing
Mine your own shop to fix and quote. Mine a bestseller to see what their buyers complain about — that gap is often your opening. Pair it with the listing spy to study how they rank, and the photo doctor to check your own line-up. All free, like this one.
