Which fields is your listing missing?

Great photos won't save a listing with the wrong settings. Paste your link and get a plain checklist of the fields Etsy's search and buyers rely on — and the two silent settings that quietly kill a listing.

Free · your score and red flags are instant · your listing is read via Etsy's official API and never stored.

What it reads

The half of a listing photos don't cover

01

The silent killers

Auto-renew off, or quantity 1 on a made-to-order listing — two settings that make a listing vanish or die after one sale, and that almost no seller checks.

02

Found in search

All 13 tags, materials, style tags, shop section, category — the details Etsy's search reads to decide whether a buyer ever sees you.

03

Trusted & bought

A real description, a return policy, processing time, accurate weight — the things that turn a click into a sale instead of someone clicking away.

A listing can be invisible while looking finished

You can shoot beautiful photos, write a good title, and still lose the sale to a setting you filled once and forgot. Empty tags leave searches you'll never show up in. No return policy quietly lowers trust. And two settings are worse than quiet — they're fatal. A listing set to manual renewal expires and disappears from search after about four months. A made-to-order listing left at quantity 1 sells its first copy and goes inactive on the spot, exactly when it was starting to gain traction.

None of this needs a guess or an opinion. Every one of these is a real setting with a right answer in Etsy's own rules, so there's no AI and no guesswork — the check just reads what's there and tells you what's missing, in plain words, with why each one matters.

Two halves of the same job

Photos win the click; fields win the visibility and the trust. Run your settings through this check, then run your photos through the photo doctor, and price against the niche with the price check. All free, like this one.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Etsy listing checker free?

Yes. Your score and any red-flag settings show instantly with no account. To unlock the full field-by-field checklist — and how to fix each item — we ask for an email, and you'll get occasional Etsy seller tips you can unsubscribe from anytime.

What does it check?

The non-photo settings buyers and Etsy's search actually use: your 13 tags, materials, style tags, shop section, category, how full your description is, return policy, processing time, shipping weight, personalization — plus the two 'silent killer' settings (auto-renew and made-to-order quantity).

What are the silent killers?

Two settings that quietly remove a listing. Auto-renew off lets a listing expire and drop out of search after about four months. And a made-to-order listing with quantity 1 goes sold-out — and inactive — the moment it sells its first copy. Both are easy to miss and easy to fix.

Does it use AI, or could it be guessing?

No AI, no guessing. Every result is a factual read of a real field against Etsy's own rules — tags counted, quantity checked, renewal read. The score is just how many of those fields are filled.

Can it read everything on my listing?

Almost. The gift details — occasion, holiday, recipient — aren't shared by Etsy's public API, so we tell you to double-check those yourself. Everything else is read directly.

What should I do with the result?

Fix the red items first (especially any silent killer), tidy the amber ones, then check your photos with the photo doctor. Filled fields plus strong photos is what a complete, findable listing looks like.
